What are the benefits of a Mercedes-Benz Genuine Remanufactured clutch plate?

The genuine remanufactured part clutch plate is precisely matched with the other Mercedes-Benz clutch components. The result? A relaxed driving experience, no juddering when you drive off and flawless vibration damping. So when it comes to reliability and standard of quality, the remanufactured Mercedes-Benz clutch plate for cars is comparable to a new part.

How does a clutch plate work?

The clutch plate is located directly behind the flywheel. It is fitted with springs that damp the vibrations from the clutch and engine block. The plate is also fitted with a lining made from a composite material and that generates friction with the clutch pressure plate. When the driver engages the clutch, the release bearing presses against the pressure plate, which, in turn, presses the disk against the flywheel. When the driver disengages the clutch, however, the individual parts become separated again.

How do I identify a defective clutch plate?

  • Sliding clutch
  • Abnormal noises when changing gear
  • Noticeable vibrations and jolting when the clutch is engaged
  • The pedal does not return to its default position
  • Impossible to change gear

Mercedes-Benz quality for your car clutch plate.

Perfect coordination with the other clutch components makes for a comfortable driving experience. Ride comfort is enhanced thanks to a judder-free start-off and excellent vibration damping. The genuine remanufactured part clutch plate is easy on your wallet. The resource-conserving remanufacturing process is also environmentally friendly.
