Steering
What are the benefits of a Mercedes-Benz Genuine Remanufactured steering unit?
The steering is a safety-relevant component part that requires maximum precision and reliability. We use our manufacturer expertise to produce the genuine remanufactured part in a process-compliant manner, ensuring that the driver's steering movements are precisely implemented and the vehicle can be steered with a high degree of sensitivity.
How does the steering work?
Via the steering, the wheels are positioned such that the vehicle moves in the direction required by the driver. The force is generated by electrical means and transmitted to the front wheels via the steering gear, steering linkage and steering arm.
In addition, it must also be possible for state-of-the-art steering systems to be connected with the vehicle's driving dynamics control and safety systems. The genuine remanufactured part fulfills all these requirements.
