What are the benefits of a Mercedes-Benz Genuine Remanufactured catalytic converter?

To protect your engine and reduce your environmental impact, our range of remanufactured parts contains catalytic converters and exhaust systems specially matched to your Mercedes-Benz vehicle. Thanks to the custom-fit exhaust system, the genuine remanufactured part catalytic converter can perform to its maximum potential and so help to eliminate a large proportion of NOx emissions.

How does a car catalytic converter work?

Catalytic converters help to almost completely neutralize the poisonous carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxide produced during combustion. They convert carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxide to nitrogen. A small part of the uncombusted fuel also reaches the exhaust system, which the catalytic converter neutralizes. Optimum use of the catalytic converter can significantly reduce the emission of harmful substances.

Car catalytic converters in Mercedes-Benz quality.

The emissions standard regulations mean that the requirements regarding car catalytic converters have become ever more stringent. This is why it is becoming increasingly important to install a catalytic converter that meets the very highest standards of quality to ensure that you don't encounter any problems during the main inspection. There is also a risk that poisonous exhaust gases can penetrate  the driver compartment and cause health problems. The remanufactured catalytic converter from Mercedes-Benz offers high quality, is environmentallyfriendly and helps you to save money.
