This ensures the longevity of the remanufactured parts and their reliable operation (i.e. power transmission from the engine to the transmission system).
How does a clutch pressure plate work?
The clutch pressure plate is a central component part of the clutch. It ensures a friction-locked connection between the crankshaft from the engine and the transmission shaft to the transmission system, thereby enabling power to be transmitted between the engine and transmission.
The lining seamlessly and firmly connects the flywheel and plate, making it impossible to engage a gear. If the driver wants to engage a gear, they have to depress the clutch pedal, which causes the release bearing to apply pressure to the disk spring clutch. This removes the frictional connection between the engine and transmission. When the clutch pedal is depressed, the clutch cable presses the clutch rod against the clutch thrust plate directly in front of the clutch pressure plate. The clutch thrust plate is pressed against the diaphragm spring on the clutch pressure plate and lifts it up. This releases the clutch plate, removing the frictional connection between the engine and transmission. The gear can now be changed without any problems.
