What are the advantages of the Mercedes-Benz Genuine Remanufactured turbocharger?
Full output and long service life: The Mercedes-Benz Genuine Remanufactured turbocharger is subject to sophisticated processing and extensive testing. For this reason, the bearing housing is also checked according to the current series-production specifications and replaced if necessary. The oil connection is already attached to the turbocharger. This allows it to be installed quickly, and there are no costs for additional parts. The Mercedes-Benz Genuine Remanufactured turbocharger receives a new, balanced compressor wheel that can subsequently be precisely fitted on the engine.
How does a turbocharger work?
The component part responsible for generating engine supercharging is referred to as a turbocharger, or also an exhaust gas turbocharger. It increases engine output and efficiency and is thus considered an auxiliary assembly of the combustion engine.
It uses part of the energy of the engine exhaust gases to drive the compressor. This increases fresh air pressure in the intake system, optimizes the cylinder fill level and also supplies more oxygen to the major assembly cylinders. This results in higher engine output with at the same time lower fuel consumption and better emission values.
How to recognize a turbocharger defect:
- Vehicle accelerates more slowly
- Appearance of light-colored or bluish smoke

- Misfires during vehicle operation
